'Shea and Hannah' was funded by the Northern Ireland Office via their 21 Artists for the 21st Century mentor programme. This scheme supported a diverse range of creative talent across a plethora of art forms. The short film portrays the pillow talk between two young people in a situationship and "offers a candid account of the awkward and endearing sex of the 21st century" - The University Times.
‘Shea and Hannah’ screened in competition at the 22nd Belfast Film Festival and during the Young Filmmakers in Focus showcase at the 35th Foyle Film Festival in 2022. The film was also shown at Disappear Here Film Festival, Mayo International Film Festival as well as Louth International Film Festival - where Dean was nominated for ‘Best Director’.
